Law Enforcement Against Prohibition (LEAP) Presentation in Port St. Lucie

LEAP speaker and former NYPD Narcotics Detective John Baeza is scheduled to speak at the Saint Lucie County Republican Club meeting this Thursday, February 25 at 7 PM.  Please see below for details.  Mr. Baeza will also speak on the afternoon of February 25 at the Fort Pierce Rotary Club, held at the Pelican Yacht Club.  All Rotarians and their guests are invited to attend.

Where:  Elks Lodge, 440 NW Peacock Blvd, St Lucie West (from I-95, go east on St Lucie West Blvd and turn left on Peacock.  The Elks Lodge is on the left side after about three stop lights, and a storage facility and across from Tradition Field.)

When:  Thursday, February 25, 2010

Time:  7:00 PM social with dinner served at 7:30 PM

Presentation:   John Baeza, will discuss  .  LEAP is made up of current and former members of law enforcement.  Their mission is to reduce the multitude of unintended harmful consequences resulting from fighting the war on drugs and to lessen the incidence of death, disease, crime, and addiction by ultimately ending drug prohibition.  Mr. Baeza's bio is available here.

Cost:  $18.00 per person.  If you plan to attend but not dine, a contribution to the club will be most appreciated.
